I mentioned before that Jackson likes to sing. One of his new favorites is John Denver's "Take Me Home Country Roads."

How did he discover that song? Mimi gave him a children's book based on the song.

Transitions

We're all getting ready for baby!

Jackson transitioned into his new car bed, his crib is put away and he's helping out around the house.

He's enjoying a new motorized jeep, loves his new activity -- soccer for tots -- and is getting ready for summer!

Last weekend, Jackson received a thrill. He got to take a ride on Thomas the Train! Mommy, Daddy, Mimi, Aunt Susie and cousin Emma came along, too. Jacks loved it!

A Few Days in Sarasota

We had the immense pleasure of spending our last vacation as a family of three in Sarasota with Meredith's family. We stayed at the Jones B&B where Bonnie cooked amazing meals and Jackson discovered two new John Deere tractors complete with a matching pair of boots. Sunday was filled with church, swinging at Mimi's house, and a visit to Papa and Gigi. We introduced Jackson to one of the Orioles farm league's spring training facilities and Mommy and Daddy attended their spring training opener while Grandpa Jones, Grandma Bonnie, and Aunt Mallory baby-sat. The next time we visit we'll have a new addition!!

Jackson is quite the little singer. This song is in honor of Spring Training 2012. By the way, he now knows that we root, root, root for the Orioles.
